These men serve as church leaders and have spiritual authority in our church community. The elders are "undershepherds" to Jesus Christ, the Good Shepherd and head of the Church. They govern this local church in submission to Christ and the Scriptures and guard our church's doctrine from false teaching. See 1 Tim. 3:1-7 and Titus 1:6-9 for the biblical qualifications of elders.
